I loved the melody, it was very nice. The only thing i would suggest working on is the drums and the bass. Especially the snare, its not really a dubstep type of snare, try getting new drum samples because these sound like fl studios drums default drums. If you cant do that than try layering the clap and snare from the dance pack, which i think came with fl studios 10. Add some reverb to it, some compressors as well to give it a crisp sound. This will give it that deep sound that adds a certain punch to the mix. As for the bass i would advise getting a plugin or vst for that because it sounds like you are using sytrus with a LFO. I use massive, razor and albino. these are pretty good programs for making dubstep wobbles and there are tons of presets on the internet as well. And some can sound really filthy. But overall i like the feel of the song and the EQ'ing sounds really good to, nothing drowns anything out, it all adds together which some people don't really achieve:) Hope to keep hearing songs from you man, you definitely got some talent hidden inside of you:D

Good song, But the drums over power most of the bass and other parts, definitely EQ it out a little bit. But besides that its pretty good, nice structure , transitions pretty nicely.

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

What do you mean by overpower? Are they too loud? Or are they not the right sample? It may just be the headphones I am mixing them with, but they seem to be at the correct level.

Could you please elaborate in a PM? I really want to improve :)

ZigZag

its pretty cool

But the ambient noise is overpowering the mix, EQ it down a little bit and im sure it will make the song easier and more pleasing to the ear :) And i enjoyed the little guitar part

RobinDB responds:

Thanks, now that I think about it I did leave the ambient synth's EQ a tad high... o_o Oh well. I'll probably take this later and add an actual song after the end of it. Thanks for enjoying it.

doesnt seem very post-apocolyptic...

But is awesome none the less, i imagine battle when the main piece of the music begins to flow, but before that it is kinda eerie.

Eerie

But i simply love eerie, i could see this being on a horror film trailer. Keep up the good work:)

Zodiax responds:

Thanks, I'll do my best!

vst or real?

i must know if the strings were really recorded or if they were a software instrument? either way they sound excellent keep up the good work

papkee responds:

Believe it or not they were soundfonts. And on top of that were free!

Dubstep?

its cool and all, but why is it under dubstep

ganon95 responds:

because it is dubstepish

timing

wobbles are nice but make sure they end on a good time or else it sounds kinda screwy, and my suggestion is to put it under the dubstep catagory next time(More View potential)
