Wow, absolutely amazing.

What did you use for the choir?

LD-W responds:

Heya! Following Kontakt-based products were used for the choir together:

- 8DIO V8P Emperium Bundle (Titan + Destiny). Temporarily unavailable at the moment, so you'll want to look into 8DIO Lacrimosa instead, as that's just Emperium Titan with less mic positions
- 8DIO Requiem
- Sonokinetic Tutti Vox
- Redroom Pallette Orchestral FX (Choir part of the library)

Great atmosphere, truly spooktacular.

Who inspired you to make this work?

TheVodouQueen responds:

Heya!

I love a lot of classical music. It may seem odd given my usual tastes, but I am a big fan of composers like Chopin, Beethoven and Mozart, and a bigger inspiration to my adoration on that genre-front is Castlevania games and bands like Kamelot and Dance with the Dead, who seamlessly combine attributes of metal, orchestra and electronica together. Orchestra + EDM + Heavy Metal is one of my all-time favourite mash-ups, besides Jazz + Synthwave and anything with Funk/Blues, and sadly the former is something I don't explore often (enough), so I try to--now--every Halloween. :D

I at least hope I'm getting better at making pieces feel authentically orchestrated and classical... ^_^; I don't know much about modes and more intricate chord variations / music theory, so a lot of the piano work was improv'd based on the Amaj/F#min chords and 7th/9ths. Just messing with MIDI note layouts, really, for the crazy gliss runs and dotted notes...

But thank you so much for your comments and questions! Means a lot to hear that you enjoyed the song and its atmosphere! ♡

Sounds good!

How did you two decide to collaborate together?

Zoftle responds:

My girlfriend has always wanted to make a song and I offered to collaborate on her first song which is this one! (Even though I did most of the work lol) but her lyric writing and vocals SOLD it!

Great song, others advise you to mix, I think you could leave it as is if you wish, I like it. Unique energy!

What are some other Lithuanian musicians you listen to?

Introverse responds:

A lot of people told me about the vocals being too quiet. When one person tells something, I take it as subjective opinion, when several people tell me the same thing, It becomes more objective haha. I decided to make a new mix, hopefully for the better.

I don't listen to a lot of Lithuanian musicians. Shishi and Dargana ar few of the good ones.

Great job, reminds me of the sound track from a ps2 game in the beginning.

What was your inspiration?

STATiXmusic responds:

My main isnpiration started as an experiment, but honed in to thinking how a boss battle might develeop

Noice!

What was your inspiration for the song?

SettaXy responds:

It just came to me as I was listening to the beat. I just freestyle and if it goes with the beat I make a song around what I started with. Sometimes I just pic a subject and make a song about it. 🤗

Sounds just like a five finger death punch song, it is beautiful in every way.

RobSoundtrack responds:
